Our Commitment

Extreme Microbial Technologies, LLC is committed to ensuring that airvya.life is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

What We Are Doing

  • Providing text alternatives (alt text) for all meaningful images.
  • Ensuring all video content includes accurate captions and, where feasible, audio descriptions.
  • Structuring content with semantic HTML headings, lists, and landmarks for assistive technology compatibility.
  • Ensuring sufficient color contrast between text and background elements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text; 3:1 for large text).
  • Making all interactive elements keyboard-navigable without a mouse.
  • Providing clear focus indicators so keyboard users can track their position.
  • Avoiding content that flashes more than three times per second.
  • Testing against WCAG 2.1 AA standards using automated tools and manual screen reader testing.

Known Limitations

The following areas may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA standards:

  • Embedded third-party video (VideoPress): Caption accuracy and keyboard controls are dependent on the third-party provider.
  • Older blog posts: Some legacy content may not meet current accessibility standards. We are working to update these over time.
  • Third-party social media plugins: Accessibility of embedded social widgets is outside our direct control.

We are actively working to address these limitations. If you encounter a specific barrier, please contact us and we will prioritize a resolution.

Technical Specifications

airvya.life relies on HTML5, ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) landmarks and roles, CSS3, and JavaScript. These technologies are supported by current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and are compatible with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), and TalkBack (Android).
